Our Story
Adsylo Academy was founded by Gigi Adaya, a Senior Advocate and Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) Administrator licensed in California since 2013. With more than a decade of experience in senior care, Gigi has managed and previously co-owned a licensed RCFE that operated in good standing, providing her with practical exposure to facility operations, staff training, and regulatory oversight.
Her work is informed by real-world experience. Together with her husband, a Registered Nurse with extensive clinical experience, Gigi brings a shared background in healthcare and facility operations that shapes a thoughtful and balanced perspective on senior care. This combined experience has reinforced a deep respect for the dignity of residents, the vital role of caregivers, and the trust placed by families, as well as the importance of fostering environments where safety, compassion, and quality of life are thoughtfully considered in everyday care practices.
Recognizing the need for accessible and practical education within licensed care settings, Gigi established Adsylo Academy to offer California state approved training programs focused on foundational knowledge and practical application. The Academy provides educational programs for administrators, caregivers, and care professionals, supporting ongoing learning and professional development in alignment with applicable state requirements.
Building on this mission, Gigi also founded the Adsylo Foundation, a nonprofit public benefit organization created to support charitable, educational, and community-based initiatives serving seniors, adults with disabilities, caregivers, and underserved populations. The Foundation has applied for federal tax exempt status, which is currently pending.
At Adsylo Academy, we believe education plays an important role in professional growth and informed care practices. Our approach is guided by experience, integrity, and a sincere commitment to supporting those who care for others.
