Gigi Adaya is the Founder and Lead Instructor of Adsylo Academy, bringing more than a decade of firsthand experience in residential care, leadership, education, and technology. As a former residential care facility owner and operator, she has direct experience with staff oversight, regulatory compliance, leadership responsibilities, and the operational demands of residential care.

Throughout her career, Gigi has led caregivers and care teams, supported staff development, overseen facility operations, and worked closely with residents and their families. Her approach to leadership is grounded in accountability, clear communication, sound judgment, and compassionate care. She believes every resident deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and genuine consideration for their individual needs, preferences, and quality of life.

Building trust with families has also been an important part of her work. She values open communication, thoughtful problem solving, and positive relationships that help residents, families, and care teams work together with confidence and mutual respect.

Her academic background includes advanced studies in computer science at the master’s level. Combining her technology knowledge with her residential care experience, Gigi developed Aetro, a software platform designed to help administrators streamline daily operations, improve organization and documentation, and support compliance related processes. This combination of industry experience and technology enables her to identify real operational challenges and develop practical solutions.

At Adsylo Academy, Gigi leads curriculum development with a focus on making regulations and professional responsibilities clear, practical, and relevant to real situations. Her goal is to prepare administrators and care professionals with the knowledge, leadership skills, and confidence to lead strong teams, build positive relationships with families, and provide high quality care while protecting the dignity and well being of the people they serve.

Outside of her professional work, Gigi is a proud mother of five, a role that continues to shape her values of responsibility, compassion, patience, and lifelong learning. She enjoys baking for her family and experimenting with her own recipes. She also has a genuine passion for developing online courses and creating practical, engaging learning experiences.
